December 12, 20169 yr If you look at the tree bark you see good detail from the red light. The white front light just provides a glare. You were playing Block Busters when you were out as well? Block busters??

December 14, 20169 yr After yesterday's tribulations with the Oxydrive Boardman, today was to good not to go off road with the Cubs AMS. 62 Miles and 4800ft of elevation gain today with av speed of 11.5mph out to the Surrey Hills, rode to Leith Hill, Shere, Ranmore & Norbury Park via Polsden. A bit naughty today as I claimed a KOM and a 2nd. Mud galore to be had and not hard to find and esp after Shere as the 4 x 4 boys have really churned up the NT forestry tracks and they look more like RAC rally stages. Along the mucky track I stopped and chatted to a local pedal mtbr of similar age to me and we had 10 min chat, he was very interested in my Cube homebrew bike. Nearly lost my back pack with camera, lunch and various toys in it as I left it at the top road entrance to the space lab in Holbury St Mary it wasn't until I was transiting the Hurtwood area about 25 mins later that I realised I was missing something, fortunately still where I had left it after back tracking pronto. St James at Shere. One of the NT tracks torn up by 4 x 4's. Sun setting from Betchworth.

I remember my late parents were in awe of the country when they visited mum's best friend over 25 yrs ago, mum quietly rued the chance that we as a family never emigrated at the same time during the early 70's. December 18, 20169 yr Been out this afternoon, hard nine with bent gears, found with the new hybrid narrow tyres to sit back on the seat and pedal and they will dig through the mud. Lovely mild afternoon, not a soul to be seen, this is part of the Mortimer trail which goes for miles, beautiful woodland trails and paths. It's as beautiful as it looks Clean wheels Soon changes to dirty wheels A pair of big boys Straight woodland paths, with no one around Bike stay for Eddie, view to Wales, steep hill on the left is Shobdon Wood another favourite of mine The two bump hill on the left of the horizon is Wigmore rolls where I was last week Really good day to be out. December 19, 20169 yr Author Last chance of a shot of all three bikes being clean at the same time. You would have thought that I would have learnt something about pedal position by now! Morning mist on the edge of Ashdown forest. And my favourite bike.
December 19, 20169 yr My Haibike on a ride Sunday around Rye http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag437/Pete_Searle/20161218_122931_zpsd8sivyeq.jpg
December 20, 20169 yr tisme. Hi how are you finding the Hai bike i quite like mine.Although having trouble with the lock on the battery holder .Do like the ysm system.
December 20, 20169 yr Battery lock works fine on mine no trouble. I like the yamaha motor better than the bosch bikes I've ridden. I like the way the power is instant. I'll be looking to sell this hardseven soon and buying a fullseven.
December 20, 20169 yr Author tisme. Hi how are you finding the Hai bike i quite like mine.Although having trouble with the lock on the battery holder .Do like the ysm system. I have always found that graphite powder is very good for problems with keys/locks on my bike. Another very good one which seems to penetrate well, yet not cause issues in respect of dust, is dry lube that you would use on a bike chain.
December 20, 20169 yr Hi cheers but i think the lock itself is defective the dealer said he will look for me .I can still use the bike untill i can get to him. Defenate case for buying local ish .Which was an important consideration when looking for a deal .
December 20, 20169 yr A couple of recent pictures, now it's the wet season and the mud is thick and sticky.
December 22, 20169 yr Was out for a lunch ride today. We had fantastic weather, spring feeling! two days before xmas! well, I don't complain, it was awesome! Found some new funny trails also.
