Beautiful ebike conversion

Featured Replies

This came up on youtube, right dogs dinner of a bike, and the wheel falls off lol

That's pretty typical of many of the installations I've seen of those type of motors. No filing of the drop-outs to get the axle in properly and no torque arms. His battery is upside down and his tyre is bald.

I don't know if I feel dorry for him or not. I think, considering everything, it's probably better for him and everybody else that he stays off the road on that bike. I don't think he's the sort of guy, who would accept a more docile solution, but who am I to judge? Would he be happy with one of those £360 Argos bikes? What do you think?

I don't feel sorry for pricks like that.

They simply haven't a clue what they are doing.

From what I can make out by his phone conversation at the end is that he bought the bike recently that was already converted and was explaining to the fella he bought it from what had happened and asked if he could fix it today.

And then when he didn’t get the answer he was looking for, he lost his temper and went into a teenage tantrum.

In that case, you have to feel a bit sorry for him. the guy, who did the conversion, did a terrible job. The poor guy had paid his money and expected it to work. When it broke, he wanted the seller to fix it, but he wouldn't. It's quite a big job to fix a ripped cable.

He seems ton be back in action now. In another videohe mentioned soldering the wires. I don't think it's going to last long, though. I'm not sure whether he's going to get it first or the bike. He's certainly not a safe rider.

I didn't stick around for the phone call. Well. if he bought that bike, he got screwed. You can't be selling a fast ebike with no torque arms.

it did fall apart pretty fast tho :p but even if you did weld the axle to the frame that looks like a tad more than a 250w motor.

plus the batt might not be capable of the motors amps consumption at max power voltage = boom

World is just a better place with him without a bike.

World would be a batter place without him, fullstop.

I don't follow him, but it came up on the youtube homepage, this same bellend now has a video where he runs a red light and crashed into a child on a pedestrian crossing (which is on the green man)

Maybe the guy will post on here asking for advice on fixing his bike.

I honestly thought this was Soundwave.

What an idiot. Not sure if you noticed, but on previous video he didn't even put wheel in dropouts.

which is on the green man

Fractal magic approximates the little dude didn't have his noggin bashed in by tarmac, lives to cross another day.
