Trek 6000 Cyclezee conversion for sale

Hi Guys, I have bumped the details of my Trek 6000 Cyclezee conversion back up in the Classifieds. I put it up in February but got no interest. It has only been ridden for a handful of miles and I just do not get the time to use it. It is a fantastic machine and has been converted to a very high...

Cyclezee Mk1 conversion on Trek 6000

I am selling my Trek 6000 which has been converted with the Cyclezee Mk1 kit. If you search ' Cyclezee bottle battery kit on Trek 6000' on the electric bikes forum page you will see the full build history. Great bike but I have only ridden it half a dozen times so has to go. Immaculate...

Is 1stone of less rider weight equivalent to a lighter bike?

Having recently lost a stone I went out for a quick ride this morning and it certainly felt a lot easier. How does rider weight relate to an effectively lighter bike?

Restricting a Razor Pocket Rocket24v mini moto to 5mph

My grandson is begging for a mini moto for Christmas. I have found a Razor Pocket Rocket 24v electric version. How difficult would it be to restrict it to around 5mph from its top speed of 15mph I suppose worse case scenario I could add a physical restriction to the twist throttle. Just found a...

Looking for Daahub style micro throttle/cruise control for Cyclezee mk1 kit

I am looking for a Daahub style micro throttle switch to supplement the twist grip throttle on my Cyclezee kit. In an ideal world it would be like cruise control. I am happy with what I guess to be about 70% for cruising into wind or slightly up hill. On the flat or better I am happy providing...

Cyclezee Bottle Battery Kit on Trek 6000

Hi Guys, Spent an interesting afternoon fitting a Cyclezee kit with the bottle battery to my Trek 6000. I have done a temporary job with throttle only. I am awaiting a new seat post mounted rack and bag that I will probably do a better job of hiding the wiring in. If not I will source a small...

    Gone for the Honda

After waiting so long for the perfect kit to become available or for the Daahiub V2 to be released I have weakened and gone for a Honda 125 S-Wing. I will keep my brand new and unused Trek 6000 mothballed until the right kit becomes available. The daahub had everything I needed and the...

    Two part pedelec sensor

Is there any off the shelf pedelec sensor disc that comes as a two part disc so as to avoid the need to remove the bottom bracket. Like the one on the Daahub. As an alternative could you cut one in half and fix it with a couple of plates across the join?

A whole can of worms for a Monday morning = Pedelec v 125cc Motorcycle

Here is my story of my experience of the world of electric bikes. Having an occupation that locks me to a chair for many hours I decided that I would increase my excercise by cycling to golf. The journey is only just over 6 miles but is very hilly. I am not talking little bumps but serious and...

    BH Emotion Xenion 650 import

I have traced a BH Emotion Xenion 650 for Euros 1,899.00 + Euros 70.00 for 4/5 day delivery to the UK from France. This equates to about £1,644.93. Seems like a bargain. Can anyone see any major pitfalls in importing in direct from another EEC member state?

Where are the electric bike kits?

Is there some hidden problem with the cytronix or daahub electric kits causing the delay in their release to the market? I note the Oxygen kit seems to have hit the market but it seems a lot for a basic hub motor drive. I have had my unused donor bike sitting unused since May last year...

Why are all the new kits running late?

It would seem that it is almost impossible for the kit suppliers to hit their promised release dates. If it was just one you might think it was just a bit of over optimism but now the Cytronex C1 has drifted from August to the 'end' of 2011. The fantastic looking Oxygen Oxydrive is at least 8...
