May 8, 20169 yr Perhaps they should start a Forum like ours. Yes indeed, I reckon most illegal mobile phone users would just gossip about boring rubbish too
May 8, 20169 yr You ain't been out in the sun sw as your arm is Lilly white. That's coz he's usually dressed up like Iron Man
May 8, 20169 yr Yes indeed, I reckon most illegal mobile phone users would just gossip about boring rubbish too Just so I don't get tarred with the same brush, I thought I'd point members to this forum section: http://pedelecs.co.uk/forum/forums/ireviews-accessories.39/
May 13, 20169 yr Bloomin' hell - is this tired old argument still going on? It's the reason I left Pedelecs a while ago and moved over to ES - much more enlightened over there. Just ask yourselves the obvious question. Had this incident, or one like it, involved one of these motorbikes where would it leave pedelecs??? It would leave Pedelecs exactly where they currently are, because the accident would involve an unregistered motor vehicle, not a pedelec. Illegal ebikes are no threat to legal pedelecs. Why would there be a clamp down on legal pedelecs if a serious accident involved an unregistered motor vehicle? If you want to be concerned about your precious pedelecs, then direct your concern to the way pedelec riders behave and accidents involving pedelecs. say i hit someone and then removed the dongle/threw it in the hedge ect how would the court prove it with out the dongle ?as bosch cant even tell if 1 has been used or not. with out that dongle as proof they would have nothing to prove it. bit harder with s class as its on the frame. That's assuming you're in a fit state after the accident to take that action. If it's a serious enough accident that means your bike is a concern, then it's more likely you'll be off to hospital in an ambulance and the police will be in possession of your bike. Sadly there are 2 members on here that are making it a mission to peach to all and use what ever tactics they can......you know who you are don't you Flud & Morphix.
May 13, 20169 yr Sadly there are 2 members on here that are making it a mission to peach to all and use what ever tactics they can......you know who you are don't you Flud & Morphix. It's OK to debate the topic, not attack each other.
May 13, 20169 yr It's OK to debate the topic, not attack each other. That's not an attack it's a statement or fact.
May 13, 20169 yr In their defence, neither of them have posted on this thread since 08-May. sssssh..now you've done it.
May 13, 20169 yr Ok All Illegal bike users are evil and eat babies. So just stop it. (Is that balanced enough ?)
May 13, 20169 yr Ok All Illegal bike users are evil and eat babies. Cats yes, but I've never eaten a baby
May 13, 20169 yr Cats yes, but I've never eaten a baby Sorry In reflection I was tired and emotional. I withdraw my erroneous statement and wholeheartedly apologise. I exaggerated the situation where it is clearly the pedalists who DO NOT have compliant reflectors on their pedals who are in fact mildly naughty. copyrite misc politicians . May 13, 20169 yr What is the fine for having a non compliant normal bicycle, no reflector or bell etc. or are these only required at the point of sale.
May 13, 20169 yr What is the fine for having a non compliant normal bicycle, no reflector or bell etc. or are these only required at the point of sale. death by firing squad
May 13, 20169 yr soundwave, it's worse than that.... The latest is that you have to attend a 24 hour lecture by 2 (unnamed) pedelec members, complete with PowerPoint presentation and with of course an attendant priest to try to save your soul from eternal damnation Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
May 13, 20169 yr What is the fine for having a non compliant normal bicycle, no reflector or bell etc. or are these only required at the point of sale. Depends on whether the policeman is having a bad day or if you have said something to him you shouldn't have done...
May 13, 20169 yr What is the fine for having a non compliant normal bicycle, no reflector or bell etc. or are these only required at the point of sale. The specified reflectors have to be on a new bike to comply with standards. A bell doesn't have to be fitted but the dealer selling a bike should by law offer a bell. Users don't have to have either on their bikes. .
May 13, 20169 yr Raises the question is there anything which legally has to be on a bike? I assume not as you can have a unicycle.
