October 11, 20169 yr Think I want one... Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Phil, there is no "think" about it. Adding the yellow tint has transformed the whole use of the light for my use. The bright white colour and glare has gone, there is no apparent loss of light, and the beam is more than enough for riding conditions including technical slow terrain, to significantly faster clear trail use. The yellow tint also helps to define shadow better than the cold white light does. It'll be interesting to see how the yellow tint works in rain and foggy conditions. Open field use. Wide track use. Sketchy root ridden woodland use. Edited October 12, 20169 yr by EddiePJ

October 11, 20169 yr I ordered one ages ago and my order got cancelled and refunded by the seller due to delivery problems. I've just ordered another one to try again. I recommended it to a friend who got his really quick and he's very impressed and I've not even seen one yet.

October 12, 20169 yr I am going to say something negative about b+m: The damned wires are too short! The front light wire isn't long enough to get to the controller and the back one, which I bought in a separate kit with mudguard fittings is barely long enough to take the normal route... 3/10 for that b+m skimping on wire length to save a couple of € cents is what the Chinese do we expect better from Germany.

You need to arrange the cells in something like 3S2P to get enough current and capacity. I have one of those that I converted with reclaimed cells from laptob batteries. I used 3S4P, and I soldered on a 3S lipo balance lead, which I can charge directly with my BS 168 lipo charger.
October 12, 20169 yr i can only charge 2 cells at a time so need to remove them. i tried my batt case but just shuts off as get flashing led, turn off and on and its fine tho. id rather have a balance charger for my bike batt than the bosch one tho and dump the bms Edited October 12, 20169 yr by soundwave

October 15, 20169 yr now you see my problem or lack of it at speed you just can not see far enough at speed with them as they dont out put what they say they do. even down the canal the speed im going in the dark if some one is going the same way buy the time i see them with the light i have it will be to late to even try braking and splat.
October 15, 20169 yr maybe if you lot stopped hooning around forests in the middle of the night up to your armpits in muck you`d find d8vehs light more than adequate, eh??!
October 15, 20169 yr Well I disagree, for the not so fast among us it's perfect, so perfect that av just ordered another one, I ride along the canal at 6.30am and it's pitch black, this wee light lights up the path very well and on the way home at 5.30pm I use the strobe function just as a wee eye-catcher.
