March 22, 201412 yr Author I added one more row of led light https://www.dropbox.com/s/j6284kj3d6u3nsh/2014-03-22%2014.53.31.jpg
March 22, 201412 yr Author It makes me visible but it doesn't provide light very far. I'm thinking to get a stronger xml light to see potholes and othet cars facing me
March 23, 201412 yr Author I now need to bleed my brake but seller is not helping at all. I'd need to buy a new brake set with bleeding kit: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XTECH-by-ZOOM-GOLD-Mountain-bike-Hydraulic-Disc-Brakes-160mm-rotors-/251346684546?var=&hash=item3a856e0a82 Can any of you recommend a compatible bleeding kit? I'm thinking to get this one but I'm not sure if it's compatible: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Avid-Disc-Brake-Bleed-Multicoloured/dp/B0063HM5AM/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1395580088&sr=8-6&keywords=bike+bleeding+kit Thanks

March 23, 201412 yr Author and would this brake pad work? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hayes-Stroker-Ace-Cycle-Disc-Brake-Pads-Semi-Metalic-Quad-Qdp52-Rrp-15-/331154194696?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item4d1a540108
March 23, 201412 yr Not sure if it'll work on hydraulic bicycle brakes but I simply use a catheter syringe and aquarium type silicon hose on my motorcycle brakes and clutch.
March 25, 201412 yr Author I received it today: Apparently it uses DOT4 oil... and my disc brake currently use mineral oil... Can I mixes these 2 during bleeding?
March 26, 201412 yr Are you still running on RC lipos cwah? Is the voltage holding up over time? I wonder how long these packs are good for?
March 26, 201412 yr I think he swapped those out for the larger Sony Konion cells a while back. Jerry

March 26, 201412 yr Author Hech, on this bike I'm using Zippy compact with a pack at 72V20AH. In term of sag I only have 3V drop on full power at 2.5KW. So about 0.15V drop/cell on max power... Quite good but my pack is big My brompton had these very nice konion. They were good too but had much more sag and were dropping to 65V under load (from 80V). Massive sag, but they were quite robust. D8veh, shall I get this one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shimano-Disc-Brake-Mineral-Oil-Fluid-In-Dropper-Bottle-Burp-Bleed-Disk-Breaks-/221392885679?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&var=&hash=item338c0b57af Edited March 26, 201412 yr by cwah
March 30, 201412 yr Author Purchased it... Now I just have to wait until the bottle arrive... Another problem, the cover starts to disintegrate: I wonder if I can do something to have something more durable? I need to make it waterproof too!
March 31, 201412 yr Author God damn universal bleeding kit: None of their thread fits my chinese brake one (on the right)... I have to send it back to the seller. I think it was a mistake to buy a no name disc brake as bleeding as well as brake pad seem to be impossible to source

March 31, 201412 yr Wow, thats a transcontinental battery pack you got there cwah, you put us all to shame. 3v drop is pretty good up there in the megavoltage land we all aspire. Keep going!
April 20, 201412 yr Author Ok, time to make my battery box waterproof. I'm planning to wrap it with Waterproof fabric: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WATERPROOF-BLACK-NYLON-FABRIC-150CM-PER-MTR-4OZ-MINIMUM-ORDER-4MTRS-/141191236520?pt=UK_Crafts_Fabric&hash=item20dfa74ba8 And use velcro to close it all together: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00186Q9AK/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE All good?

April 21, 201412 yr What a monster bike! You cope perfectly with normal traffic. I have remembered when I was living in London, I lived quite close to that area, in fact. Pretty cool video and bike.
