Hi Nealh just to let you know at long last after waiting 5 weeks the hall sensors pcb arrived today 12th march so will fit 1 and hopefully it will run straight away if not will have to use those learn wires. or do the combinations. which I hope I don't need to. will keep you updated later not bad price 5 sets of pcbs for £13.87 much cheaper than in UK
March 12, 20224 yr Author Nealh if you about, I have fixed the hall sensors pcb board wired it all up and it went 1st time. so well happy with that. didn't have to do the learning wires or do those combinations. I just have to fit all the proper anti- rotation and torque washers etc to wheel. I am only taking it for tests along a short road and back to test out a few times its not far if I have to walk it back But fingers crossed all testing will be fine this time. hope you can view videos ok and as always many thanks for your marvellous help plus others here too Edited March 12, 20224 yr by billyboya

Well I will now have rotation washers and also torque washers on axle plus that loctite 243 glue on the thread so hopefully that will be ok as can’t see axle turning again. But like I said will do just a few walking distance runs first. But I’m sure it will be ok 4 months been doing this lol. So it had better be ok
March 13, 20224 yr Author Nealh if you about Im having a problem fitting the torque washers, as its making the chain far too tight. I have the rotation washers on ok so will they be enough 1 on each side. But its real hard to fit the torque ones
March 13, 20224 yr The chain probably is too short then, it is imperative the torque arms are fitted otherwise the wheel will twist the motor cable again.
March 13, 20224 yr Author Well this is what I have so far, But the chain is same as I have had from since I bought moped. I have a washer on inside of spokes, and on the outside is a rotation washer plus a big washer then the nut. but how can I tell what size chain to get then, would that mean unlinking chain measure length I think when i did have torgue washers on the axle was nearly to ends of drop outs so wont a longer chain be too loose Edited March 13, 20224 yr by billyboya

March 15, 20224 yr Is it still too soon to congratulate you again billyboya? I'm amazed you stuck at it for so long! I'd have (carefully) torn it up into ickle teeny tiny bits to sell on ebay pretty much straightaway - that you stuck with it and saw it through to a successful conclusion is very impressive! By reading the great advice others have posted on this thread, such as the incomprehensibly patient nealh, I've learned useful things too. Edited March 15, 20224 yr by guerney
March 15, 20224 yr One needs to go back to #15 & #18 and fit those style torque arms on each side including the fixing bolt in to the tapped hole, the tabbed torque washers I in the main just a location/holding washer ( alfine geared hubs use them for locating and holding the axle in the correct position). Once they are fitted then find a suitable chain that is long enough, the chain already on the bike is likely not the correct length as the torque arm/s were never fixed in situ.

The reason why I have stuck to it, is because I don’t give up on things. And as I had spent money on a battery plus a few other parts. I wanted to get it fixed. It’s been like a hobby to me I’m opening my 1st electric moped shop soon lol. Billyboya electric moped repairs. What I’ve learnt here I will certainly know what to do next time if it goes wrong. I have been on this moped 4 months now. But a month well 5 weeks was waiting for those hall sensor pcb boards from China. Which I thought at £13.87 for 5 boards was cheap. As I saw same just 1 board for £22 what a rip off I thought. I have to thank Nealh for his great help. He has taught me loads here. I never had a clue what phase or hall wires was or even how to remove the motor . Also. Hi Nealh so you are saying to fit the ones ERider sent me as I have ordered these from eBay as the ones from ERider seem too long which makes the chain too taught also with having a bolt in that hole is a bit impossible as don’t line up. March 15, 20224 yr I would try and use the erider one piece torque arms, you already had one that was correct. The erider ones look ok to me from the pic, they need to sit direct on the drop out and then secure with a bolt. The chain looks to be a single speed cycle chain, count the links as they come in various lengths/links . Edited March 15, 20224 yr by Nealh
March 15, 20224 yr In #111 the torque arm isn't dead flat on the drop out /stay, you have the anti rotation washer (ARW) in between, this needs to be removed. Don't forget some one had messed with the bike big time before you got it, so looks like someone omitted fitting the torque arms and may have fitted the ARW's instead. The ARW's may originally /probably weren't used and are just throwing a spanner in the works and are not required as the Torque arm's are all that are needed. Edited March 15, 20224 yr by Nealh
March 16, 20224 yr How many links is your Erider 15 supposed to have had originally billyboya? I've been googling for that info, but no joy. I did find a manual for another Erider model, which says there should be a small amount of slack in the chain (page 22), which may or may not be relevant for your bike. Might be worth asking Erider how long the chain is supposed to be, for your model 15? https://eriderbikes.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/V7-Manual.pdf Adjustment of chain Loosen the rear axle nut first to adjust the slack of the chain. While adjusting the chain, the front and rear chain wheel must be aligned in a straight line. After adjustment, fix the rear axle nut. Lock the adjusting nut for final inspection to make the loosening distance between the centers of two chain wheels is 10 ~ 15mm. see diagram

That’s if they fit a 14mm axle as those what ERider sent are not same as in the 11 and 18 images. Also they are a bit too long so need shortening a bit which I can do that’s why the chain is a bit taught. As you can’t move wheel back in dropouts to make chain looser

The PDF viewer counts pages differently to those numbered.

Well Like I said earlier, it was 3 months being fixed, took it along a short stretch of road dam axle had twisted a bit so broke cable to motor, also fried 2 sensors on the motor pcb, I did buy 3 more new sensors, but messed up the pcb so had to buy another from china which took 5 weeks, which was a pack of 5 pcbs for just £13.87 but i saw same one on ebay for £22 that's just 1 what a rip off I thought. I'm just sorting out the torque washers now as instructed by the brilliant Nealh, without his help I wont have had this electric moped working, also with Matthewslack help too.

But feel they wont fit a 14mm axle. I have asked the seller but he didn't seem to know, and the ones Erider provided, which I don't think they are for my model 15, as too long that's why I cant make chain looser as the torque washers are too long, But will see if these from eBay will fit, if not I will have to saw some off the ends of these from Erider. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154863350483?var=454974118793
