October 15, 20169 yr Well I disagree, for the not so fast among us it's perfect, so perfect that av just ordered another one, I ride along the canal at 6.30am and it's pitch black, this wee light lights up the path very well and on the way home at 5.30pm I use the strobe function just as a wee eye-catcher. I haven't said that it isn't perfect for that use. I agree that it is, and still recommend buying one. If you took the time to actually read what I have written, then you would have noticed that. I think it's the "one Light solution" that's the problem. In the past my best has been one on the bike and one on my helmet. The bike light illuminating the general direction of travel and the helmet light lighting up where I am looking... I know what you are saying, but it has never been an issue with the Fenix. Sadly as said before, a helmet light would never work for my use. It would just become a liabity in respect of head strikes. Also when riding in a group, the issue then becomes having to either turn the light off when stopping for what ever reason, or not looking directly at other riders in the group. It doesn't sound much, but it would soon become an annoyance. Sadly I guess that everything is ultimately a compromise. maybe if you lot stopped hooning around forests in the middle of the night up to your armpits in muck you`d find d8vehs light more than adequate, eh??! There is no point owning an eMTB if you aren't going to use it for six months of the year. Some of us have to work in the day time, so night ridng is the only option. Besides, life is too short not to get out and play. . Edited October 15, 20169 yr by EddiePJ

October 16, 20169 yr http://www.shopmoonlightmountaingear.com/en/products/bright-as-day-6000 and my tiny dot on the floor I can not see why those $300 each lights perform better than the £16 one you bought off ebay? They look the same. A mystery.
October 17, 20169 yr Hey SW have you sorted the lights out yet? Or are you staying in at night? Have just ordered this to replace the one that was nicked, and will end up with 2 crapy battery packs in place of the 4 good cells and battery box you recommended . https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01G6OQMDC/ref=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_2 Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

October 18, 20169 yr Very bright . I rode the canal towpath with plenty of illumination. All the dog walkers stopped and turned their backs to me.. ignorant lot! If I get out tomorrow night I will take a photo, but for the price it is good Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

October 19, 20169 yr Where is the one you are going to? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Ayr these shops are hard to find on internet tends to be local knowledge. Seems to def be one in gloucester and a ?pop up one in york would imagine they will be spread around the country but are not advertised that well for obvious reasons
October 19, 20169 yr That will be great of you can put a few pics on phill, I may just get one and use the other one for my helmet light. It looks well made with thick cabling. Came next day and was extremely well packaged. Everyone says the batteries are fake but if I can get 1.5 to 2 hours that will do me fine and it's easy to swith between modes when riding which is a bonus. I use a small extension bar to mount it ans a frame bag for the battery. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161019/d1ebf473a5c12656d74c9ff2f0ffd38c.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161019/b1d43be887d8fc2407643a12c25e030b.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161019/9678c08b7db8c45e9ad275241b213c0c.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161019/2fa3afd35b82e989f6fe73dcfd6874b2.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161019/8871dd0dd71fa70ab5985a26e0fdfba3.jpg That will be great of you can put a few pics on phill, I may just get one and use the other one for my helmet light. October 19, 20169 yr Everyone says the batteries are fake but if I can get 1.5 to 2 hours that will do me fine I still don't see that as an issue. As said before, I am now on my third winter season of using the same batteries as you, and I am still getting an evening of riding use from them without having them run flat. It is seemingly only one person on here that has an issue with them.

At little cost I might add.. When out last night I kept waiting for it to go flat.. but it didn't, which is good bearing in mind it has 2 leds...
